Second recertification to ISO 14001
Practised sustainability is one of Grohe AG’s basic principles. TÜV Nord has now completed its international audits at GROHE again successfully and extended the company’s environmental certificate ISO 14001:2004 for another three years.
Grohe AG not only feels obliged to protect the element water, but also takes ecological and social responsibility very seriously as well as the environmental compatibility of production and products. One important aspect is therefore certification to ISO 14001:2004.
With ISO 14001 environmental protection is systematically rooted within our corporate management. The company not only sees its social responsibility for employees, but also maintains an open dialogue with the general public. At all sites it promotes activities for environmental protection as well as for the improvement of occupational health and safety protection, even off site. As part of Grohe’s corporate image all production sites within the corporate group follow the same environmental principles and guidelines.
Grohe AG has held a group certification for all European sites since 2003. Certification was awarded to the production plant in Thailand in 2004. Only when all plants meet the requirements of the ISO 14001:2004 standard will the certification be retained. This ensures that environmental protection receives equal priority in all GROHE production plants - in Germany as in Portugal and Thailand.
